How to Chrystallise Flowers
|
|

CRYSTALLISED FLOWERS
Fairies love to chrystallise flowers, they brighten up and sweeten there home tree where they live in Netherland.
My Fairy Lilly who comes to Fairyland gave me this recipie to share with you.
These lovely flowers look great upon a cake or dessert. Make up a batch of cup cakes and once iced place one of these delights on top and invite your family and friends over for a funtastic afternoon tea, they are sure to impress.

Gather together a bunch of flowers. Fairies mainly use violets or roses, but you can use almost any flower and even leaves.
Whip up an egg white in a bowl until its fluffy - not peaky.
Using a small brush, paint both sides of each flower with the egg white, then gently dredge with caster sugar.
Leave on rack in a draft free space to dry completely.
Store in an airtight container, these will keep for weeks and weeks.
